A Reddit post introducing BoTab as a beautiful and personalized alternative to traditional tab management tools.
Hey everyone,
Does anyone else feel like most session/tab managers (looking at you, Toby and OneTab) are just... cold and boring? They're basically just lists of links. It feels like walking into a sterile archive room every time I open my browser. It saves my tabs, but it does nothing to help me get back into the flow of what I was doing.
I'm a developer and heavy browser user, and I wanted a new tab page that was more than just a dumping ground for links. I wanted something that felt like my own space – something visual, organized, and honestly, just pleasant to look at.
So, I built BoTab. The core idea is to use visuals to help you switch contexts faster.
We did a beta test, and users said it helped them recover their work context about 40% faster than old-school text-based tools.
I'm really curious to hear how you all manage your browser chaos. Do you just embrace the 100+ tab life? Or have you found a system that works for you?
Would love to get your feedback on what we've built. You can check it out at our site.
